Anode modification by doping silver nano-particles (Ag NPs) into poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) and cathode interfacialmodification by inserting a solution-processed bathophenanthroline (sBphen) inCH3NH3PbI3−xClx based planar perovskite solar cells are investigated. Prior to the opticaleffect such as the localized surface plasmon resonance, Ag-NPs distributed in PEDOT:PSSmainly cause improved electrical property of PEDOT:PSS-Ag NPs composite films. sBpheninterfacial layer modified the surface morphology of perovskite/phenyl-C61-butyric acidmethyl ester (PC61BM) films by filling in the voids on the surfaces of perovskite/PC61BMeffectively, leading to obvious improvement in the fill factor. Accordingly, a championdevice with a power conversion efficiency of 15.75% was achieved owing to the cathodeand anode interfacial modification simultaneously.
