Sodium− Quinolate Complexes as Efficient Electron Injection Materials for Organic Light-Emitting Diode Devices



      Improvement of electron injection is one of the most effective ways for obtaining highly efficient low-voltage organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Here, we report the study on the unidentate sodium− quinolate complexes as the electron injection layer for OLEDs. Sodium− quinolate complexes, 8-hydroxyquinolinolatosodium (Naq), 2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinolinolatosodium (NaMeq), and 2-(diphenylmethyl)-8-hydroxyquinolatosodium (Ph2Naq) were synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR, UV− vis, ...
