(1) Position Engineering  --  Fine Control in Material Properties

Position engineering in substitution of groups is generally used to modify the organic molecules for required functions. Based on the deep understanding in position engineering and the breakthrough in chemical synthesis, we have prepared different series of materials with various functions by utilizing new substitution positions on the convention organic molecules.

(2) Spiro Structure  --  More Stable Materials

Spiro structure is typically used to improve the chemical stability of organic functional materials. We have developed lots of materials based on the spiro structure, followed by the optimization of their properties.

(3) Emitting Micro/Nano Tubes  --  Fantastic Emitting Materials

We successfully synthesize the charge-transfer heterojuction compounds by utilizing the two-step seeding method.  The as-prepared compounds are micro tube semitting white light and have the potential in applications due to their lowcost and high brightness. Our results can also be used for studying the fluorescence emission phenomena from the charge-transfer compounds.
